Q: What can I do as an expert or professional here at answers-now.com? When you sign up as a member you are given your own profile page, to do what you please on. There is no fee to join our network, and on your page you can tell the world about yourself, and how you can be of service. Its your page - you can put pictures, graphics, music, videos, text, articles, use the blog, add links to other websites, your list of services and fees, and in doing this, you are marketing yourself and allowing others to see who you are and what you do. If someone wants a service from you, they will contact you, and from there it is UP TO YOU to sort out payment and services. Once you are a member you can answer questions at the forum, participate in groups and discussions, and continue to market yourself and your abilities, and network with other experts. You can choose to do as much as you want here at answers-now.

Q: Is there any fees or costs to join? There is currently NO FEE to join as an expert/professional OR as a regular member. BUT if you wish to promote yourself, we have a few different ways to do that, and there are minimal costs associated with these options. Fees paid to answers-now.com from an expert is used for site administration and advertising/marketing.

Q: How do I get payment for my services to a client? That is strictly up to you. Most of us have paypal, and that would be a preferred method to use for direct client to expert transactions, it’s a low transaction fee and you retain all of the income, and it is simple as swapping email addresses! However if you have another website already set up with a merchant account or shopping cart system and you do not want to complicate matters, send them to a pre-existing location. It is totally up to you! Answers-now only provides the portal for professionals to showcase their services, you as the expert will look after all communication, transactions, payments and services between yourself and the client.

Q: How can I become a featured member? This is part of our marketing packages. You do have the option to pay a small monthly fee to be a “featured” member, which gives your picture a front page position, and on our members page, places you at the top of the list, along with any other featured members. We have a few marketing/advertising options available to assist you in promoting yourself to the members of our network.

Q: How can I have my article or profile “featured” on the main page?Again this is part of our marketing packages. There is a fee to be showcased on the main page, where your photo, and your profile OR an article or whatever you wish - if you have something to be specifically “advertised”, this can be done to achieve maximum exposure for yourself.

Q: I have my own website elsewhere. Can I advertise it on answers-now separately from my own profile?Yes you can. If you wish to specifically advertise another business or website, there is a monthly fee for banner ads, text ads, and other sponsorships.

Q: Can I connect my facebook or myspace profiles TO answers-now? Yes you can! We have “badges”. There are html codes for them and these can be found on site where you can place the answers-now code onto other sites like facebook and myspace and cross-connect your profiles which will actually help increase traffic flow to your profile and answers-now.

Q: What can be done about another expert or other member who is causing problems, abusing the forum, is unethical or is just not “playing fair”?Please advise the administrator(s) of answers-now of the situation observed and it will be looked into. We do have the ability to remove or “ban” members and if required, will do so. we wish to keep our site problem-people free as much as possible, so please let us know if there is something that needs our attention.
